The Spa at Sundance

Scenic Lift Rides

Ride Ray’s Lift to the summit for dramatic views of towering Mount Timpanogos.  Hike to Stewart Falls, Arrowhead Summit, or just enjoy the scenery. Round trip is 45 minutes.

Horseback Riding

Guided tours of varying length and degree of difficulty explore the pristine wilderness of the Wasatch mountain range surrounding Sundance. Depending upon weather conditions, rides can be arranged at sites such as Stewart Falls in the North Fork of Provo Canyon or at the nearby Soldier Hollow stables. All rides are in the Wasatch mountain range and boast breath-taking views. Trips start at $50.00 per person. Visit Sundance Stables for more details. 

Hiking

The mountainside is laced with miles of trails and hikes of varying length. Trail maps are available for self-guided hikes. Naturalist guided hikes (up to 6 people) are available from $60.00 per hour. Call 801-223-4849 for details.

Sundance Art Shack

The Sundance Art Center hosts resident and visiting artists. Works are displayed in the Art Shack Gallery, and many handcrafted items are for sale at the Sundance General Store. Daily classes are offered in areas such as Photography, Pottery, Collage, Drawing, Painting, and Watercolor. Classes cost between $60.00 and $80.00 and are 1 to 2 hours in duration. In addition, artisan glassblowers work 6 days a week; guests are encouraged to watch them work, but Sundance does not offer glassblowing classes. Call 801-225-4107 ext 4535 for more information. 

Mountain Biking

Access over 20 miles of intermediate and expert mountain biking terrain from the chair lift at Sundance. For easier terrain, the 20-mile Provo River Parkway, only six miles from Sundance, is open to bikers, walkers and rollerbladers. Golf

Soldier Hollow Golf Course

Soldier Hollow Golf Course is the newest addition to Utah's beautiful Wasatch Mountain State Park. The championship, 36-hole facility includes two 18-hole courses which offer challenging play for golfers of all abilities along with amazing views of the Heber Valley and majestic Mount Timpanogos. Thanksgiving Point

A championship caliber course, the Golf Club at Thanksgiving Point is 7,728 yards long and covers more than 200 acres, making it the largest golf club in the state.

The Homestead

The Homestead is an 18-hole championship mountain course designed by PGA Senior Tour Professional Bruce Summerhays. This spectacular 7,000-yard, Par-72 course winds through the surrounding Snake Creek Valley and Wasatch Mountains.

Fly Fishing

Located just 1 1/2 miles from Sundance, the Provo River is one of the nation’s premier blue ribbon fly-fishing rivers – producing world class Rainbow and Brown Trout. Guided expeditions are priced at $155.00 for a group and $195.00 for individuals. Park City

In the nearby resort town of Park City, guests can choose from a wide variety of activities. The Historic Main Street is known for its restaurants, shops, boutiques, and galleries. Park City is located 38 miles from Sundance (Map).
